Develop your skills and improve your writing to better communicate your photography. Learn to effectively communicate about yourself and your work in artist statements, magazines and more. 

Carla Erdmann works as a freelance writer, specialising in the field of photography She is a freelance editor of Leica Fotografie International and her texts also appear regularly in various publications and exhibition catalogues such as Arte Magazine, EIKON magazine and Halle4, gute aussichten, Germany’s most significant competition for photography graduates, Deichtorhallen, one of the largest exhibition venues of its kind in Europe.

Megan Bentley currently works at Articulate, Australia’s leading communications agency for the arts and cultural sectors. Megan has led campaigns for organisations including Sydney Fringe Festival, the Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize and Head On Photo Festival, as well as jointly managing Articulate's social channels and outreach strategy. After graduating from the University of Cape Town with a BA Honours in English Literature and Language Studies, Megan completed a certificate in Art and Business at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London and gained experience in commercial arts sector communications with London arts PR agency Flint PR.

Chris Round is a landscape photographer, based in Sydney, Australia. He also had a career in advertising, winning many international accolades including a coveted Grand Prix at Cannes. He has a particular interest in documenting landscapes featuring human interventions that visually activate their surroundings in strangely compelling ways. He is perhaps best known for his extensive survey of Australia’s iconic Snowy Hydro Scheme in NSW, a project where he explores the delicate balance between nature and Humankind’s intervention upon it.
