This workshop is an introductory level for people who would like to explore the magic of Light Painting. I will teach you how to apply light in ways that will help you to create some remarkable images.

The basic equipment you need to do light painting includes a digital camera that has Manual Exposure and Manual Focusing options. You will also need a tripod and torchlight to illuminate your subjects.

Since 2010 Peter Solness has taught light painting skills to well over 1,000 people and is regarded as a pioneer in the art of light painting. His innovative and passionate approach has seen his work receive multiple photography awards. Peter is regularly profiled in magazines and online media such as the Weekend Australian Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, Australian Photography and Australian Art Review. His work is held in the collections of The Museum of Sydney, NSW Parliament House, Macquarie University Gallery and numerous private collections.
