Workshop - Printing workshop with Warren Macris
Hear all about the (surprisingly to some) difficult process of printing photographs from one of Australia’s most revered photo printers. Whether you want to get your photos printed by a professional or print them yourself, Warren will help you on this topic by sharing his extensive knowledge of the different techniques, inks, papers, colour optimisation and more.

About the artist
Warren Macris and his team at High Res Digital’s client list reads like a who’s who of Australia’s leading photographers, contemporary artists and institutions. Murray Fredericks, Tamara Dean, Petrina Hicks, Tracy Moffatt, Stephen Dupont, The Australian Museum, the NSW State Library and NSW Parliament are just a small part of those that trust Warren and his team with their imaging needs. Working collaboratively from the very embryonic stages of concepts and images is a regular and valued part of their process. Warren is at the interesting career point of having printed and shot analogue for 24 years from 1974 to 1998 and then for another 24 years digitally from 1998 till today. He has a very clear opinion on the two processes!
