Tom’s Do brumbies dream in red? considers changes to the Australian landscape with regards to the Snowy Mountain Brumby especially after the Black Summer bushfires.
About the artists
Uruguayan photographer, Federico Estol, graduated from the Image and Multimedia Technology Centre of the Polytechnic University of Cataluña (BarcelonaTech).
Federico is currently the artistic director of San José Foto promoting the Photobook Club Montevideo and editor of El Ministerio Ediciones publishing house. He has been nominated for Prix Pictet, the Paris Photo–Aperture Photobook Award 2019 and the Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography 2020, and was awarded numerous prizes, including the Discovery Award at Encontros da Imagem Portugal 2019
Tom Goldner (b.1984) is an Australian artist, curator and teacher of photography. He resides on Wurundjeri country in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. His career spans art, commercial projects, education, fundraising, gallery curation and community engagement initiatives.
Tom's creative practice is within the expanded documentary genre of photography. His projects utilise a multifaceted, collaborative and experimental approach to storytelling, negotiating the intersections between social and environmental constructs. Tom recently completed an MA of Arts Photography at Photography Studies College, Melbourne.
