PhotoGraff

Jason Wing and Garry Trinh are Sydney-based artists who are inspired by society’s performance within the urban environment.
PhotoGraff embodies the culmination of their respective artistic styles, photography and graffiti/stencil art. They invite us to perceive the world differently; to contemplate the beauty, wonderment and humour in the everyday. Both artists share a powerful connection through their work and their cultural identity; Wing’s Chinese and Aboriginal background paired with Trinh’s Chinese and Vietnamese ancestry provide us with an insight into their wonderful worlds of culture, identity and place.
PhotoGraff presents their personal exploration of the interplays between Sydney’s street and beach cultures.
Closing Party & Artists’ talk Saturday 26 May 2pm-4pm.
Artists in Conversation – Panel speakers include Garry Trinh, Thomas Berghuis, Aaron Seeto, Jason Wing (via skype) and Amanda Muscat. Facilitated by Nicholas Tsoutas.
