In 1985 Max Dupain, writing in the Sydney Morning Herald, described Jon Lewis’ Bondi exhibition as having “a great spiritual affinity for these people,” and “he uses his camera with appropriate feeling” Wonderful words from the old master indeed.
Now, 27 years later, we can see again what Dupain was talking about.
