In 2012 Meg travelled to Litang in western Sichuan province near the border of Tibet in search of Chinese cowboys. Litang is one of the highest towns in the world located at an altitude of over 4000m and has an alpine subarctic climate.

It is a two day trip overland via dirt roads and mountain passes to reach the town. Once a year in August nomads travel to the town to participate in the annual horse festival.

In 2012 Paul was commissioned to photograph ethnic minority communities throughout Guizhou Province by PhotoChina Original Photo Festival.

This exhibition is a selection of work from a larger body of work, which will be exhibited in the Guizhou Province, China late 2013.

All the portraits were shot with a Hasselblad 503CW camera using Kodak TriX 400 film.
