Collected Works internationally acclaimed photo-artist Samantha Everton presents a collection of her surreal photographs at Arthouse Gallery for the first time, 2-26 May 2012.

This exhibition is a culmination of key pieces from Samantha Everton’s two most recent bodies of work Vintage Dolls (2009) and Marionettes (2011). Both these renowned series evoke an unsettling drama in a familiar setting.

By subtly distancing her subjects father and farther away from reality Everton manages to create a vivid world in a setting she describes as ‘magical realism’. Everton’s world is one that provokes deep contemplation in its symbolic ambiguity, surreal inspirations and masterful technical ability.
