Sydney artist Catherine Cloran draws inspiration from ‘natural’ spaces in the city such as parks and gardens. At first glance these places look beautiful but on closer inspection they appear to teeter on the edge of abjection.
Stephen Roach addresses both emptiness and presence. Always working with friends or family, a natural evolution in the subject is allowed, dictating the final form.
Lastly, highly profiled Asian photographer Russel Wong, draws from his ability to infuse commercial accounts with creative elements and sensitivity, leading to his beautiful and pictorial awareness within his fine art photography.
Official Opening Event on Saturday 30 April, 4-6pm
