Exhibition to be opened by Richard Morecroft.

Utopia Collection (2011) depicts an ultimate world, saccharine-sweet visions of human, animal and birds living peacefully as one, nurturing each other.  The technique of adding foreground foliage adds to a personal  peep-hole view to this world, creating an intimate experience.

Mirrored Whispers (2012), Emma’s latest collection again uses her hand painted canvas with model expertly blended into unique patterns of flowers reminiscent of her childhood.  The palest pastels are gentle as the muse within whispers gently to herself, a personal conversation of inner reflection.

Artist Talk: 11 – 12am Wednesday 2 May
Emma will talk about her new body of work. Mirrored Whispers. The creation of her photographic images after days of body painting models and backdrops. She will also talk about her incredible success painting Gotye for his hit single ‘Somebody I used to know.’  Gotye (Wally) will be sitting for Emma on Friday 4 May to create a portrait. The image will be auctioned to raise money for ‘The Thin Green Line’ and ‘Make a Wish Foundation’.
