Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre will celebrate the diversity of photography with a one day event jam packed with activities for all the family to enjoy.
In addition to the photographic exhibitions on show, Ingeborg Tyssen: Photographs, and Time Machine: Sue Ford in the Regional Gallery and Sean Izzard: Facing Bate Bay in the Community Gallery, you’ll be able to join a curator talk and participate in a range of activities for adults and kids to enjoy. The gallery foyer will be a buzz with free picture frame making and polaroid portrait taking. Kids can take a workshop where they can learn how to print using sunlight or create their own digital photo album.
The theatrette will screen films and feature a presentation of highlights from the Head On Photo Festival by Moshe Rosenzveig, Director of the Head On Photo Festival.
From 10am – 5pm there will be something for everyone – from the serious art lover to the family looking for a great day out. Browse the art gallery, join a guided tour, make some art, take a group Polaroid snap, catch a film, grab a bite to eat, enjoy a coffee or just sit back and relax in the gardens.
