MCLEMOI GALLERY is pleased to present “SUSPENSE”, Tyler Shieldsʼ first solo exhibition in Australia. Like hundreds of the most adrenaline filled instants in movies and literature, frozen at the height of the action, this body of work is an exploration on polarized moments. The dialogue between the subjects, locations and captured moments leave one to wonder what will occur next. “SUSPENSE” includes Tyler’s regular muses Lydia Hearst, Francesca Eastwood and Emma Roberts, amongst others.
In the past year Tyler Shields has directed his first feature; starring Oscar Nominated Abigail Breslin, Wes Bentley and Alexander Ludwig; released two novels, participated in the television series ʻMrs. Eastwood and Company on E! – Entertainment Channel, and is collaborating with HarperCollins for a book: ʻDirty Side of Glamourʼ (including his famous controversial works with Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan and others.)
