Unfolding Broadhurst

Internationally acclaimed body illustrator and photographer, Emma Hack, explores the notion of camouflage within her limited edition photographic images. Iconic Florence Broadhurst wallpaper designs provide the perfect inspiration. Signature Prints allow her to not only use the designs but grant Emma exclusivity and access to the Florence Broadhurst archives.
Unfolding Broadhurst is Emma’s third exhibition at the Frances Keevil Gallery. Emma painstakingly camouflages the human form into the wallpaper design, using body-painting techniques – a unique medium mastered over a 20-year career. The final photographic image is a voyeuristic peephole of camouflage.
Revisiting her love of combining Australian birds with her creations, this collection is featuring Owls, Eagle and Kestrel.
