Juliana Swatko is a lecturer in photography at the University of Western Sydney. Hybrids photography exhibition explores three of Sydney’s Botanic Gardens, using a low tech Holga camera and medium format film, that have been digitally reconstructed into impressionistic panoramic images. The title Hybrids refers to the method of image making, where many exposures have been layered, presenting a vision based in photographic reality which dissolves into dreamlike environments.
Exhibition opens 12th April at 2.00 pm at the University of Western Sydney Art Gallery, AD building, Werrington North. Exhibition continues until 30th June.
