As a graphic designer I just love creating these futuristic looking abstracts. I create them from architectural shots I’ve taken over the years. I start with picking an image with striking contrast, graphic shapes or strong lines and compose a square crop, I then flip the image vertically and flip the two horizontally to create a finished image. Most of the results of this relatively simple trick turn out to be average shapes, but every now and then I’m able to create something special. I choose to work in monochrome because it highlights the essence of the shape, colour is just a distraction. Hope you like my Architectural Abstracts.
