The Humans of Kings Cross photo exhibition takes a first-hand look at the colourful people who call The Cross home, with a particular focus on the Wayside community.

Kings Cross is a rich tapestry of stories, from the familiar faces weathered from a life on the streets to the successful Potts Point businessmen struggling with their own internal chaos.

Nowhere else in Sydney does such a diverse cross-section of society coincide than in the heart of Kings Cross. And to celebrate our fascinating community we’ve been collecting some of the stories that have touched our hearts. Stories that show struggle, determination and the ways in which we’re all connected by the human spirit.

Our photographer is the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2015 runner-up Katherine Williams, who has volunteered her time to beautifully capture our visitors and their stories.

Join us for our Humans of Kings Cross photo exhibition, and prepare to laugh, cry and be inspired.
